Too many stickies on this page

    Hi mods,
    Could you please consider reducing the amount of stickies on this page. A few of them are duplicates and refer to threads about the dodgy boxes. Surely one sticky is enough and any new threads can just be either deleted or locked until they move off the first page. There are currently eight stickies of which five refer to illegal ways to recieve TV.

    I have to agree. The more stickies people see, the less likely to read them they are. Perhaps one sticky for dodgy boxes with a glaring title would be better.

    Yes, does seem kind of silly - especially considering the number of threads regarding dodgy boxes which still crop up, proving nobody reads those stickies on it anyway.

    They obviously read the stickies and then post in Satellite instead...

    It's a problem all right. At least the regular users are good at reporting dodgy posts. All us Mods have paying jobs and do this in our spare time.

    We'll talk to Cult about how to have a vivid banner for sticky!

    Indeed. I could make an Announcement type thread instead (one outdated one there already).

    Then a cull of some of the stickies there.
