Buying a Marquee

    I'm looking to buy a marquee for a wedding for 100 guests. I have seen a few online that I'm interested in, but I'm not sure how the floor works. The area we're looking at is relatively flat, it's a gravel surface. There is a slight slope, does this need to be levelled out by the marquee floor? The marquees I'm looking at are 500gsm PVC material, does anyone know anything about that, whether this is what I should be looking for? Any hints or tips appreciated, thanks.

    If it's for a one-time event (i.e. your wedding) perhaps it might be worth leaving it to the professionals? I went on to the Confetti Pink Pages in the DIY section and found a bunch of marquee places. A couple are...

    Thanks for that. I was considering using it more than once, but have since decided to leave it to the professionals for the first one, and when we're a bit more knowledgable about it we can look into buying one in the future. Initial outlay is in in the region of 30-50K for a weatherproof type, which is vital in the Irish climate! Thanks for responding anyway, -A
