A friend is looking to buy a laptop. She is from Ireland but has just started a 3yr degree in Cardiff. I'm buying her a laptop with my Irish credit card. Can I buy from dell.ie with a UK delivery address or from dell.co.uk with an Irish CC? I'd guess that it'd have to be bought in the UK for the on-site support? Is it true…

Can I buy from dell.ie with a UK delivery address or from dell.co.uk with an Irish CC? I'd guess that it'd have to be bought in the UK for the on-site support?

Is it true that Home support is provided via India and Business support is provided via the home country? The laptop she wants is an inspiron which is available via Small Business/Office portal on Irish site but only via Home portal on UK site.

Where'd be best to buy?
