Weezer Tribute Band

    Drummer with loads of giging experience requires three more nerds to establish a Weezer tribute band based in Dublin. We should call it something witty like Ventolin! Hi oh!

    Well I REALLY like Weezer! The idea just came to me today and decided to put it in the form of a post on boards. Have a bassist aswell no probs so that would leave a need for a Rivers. Unless you can sing? Not really sure the market for it would be but I'd love to get something going for it. A Weezer influenced originals band would also be an option I'd look into!

    I wish i could sing but unfortunately i cant. There used to be a weezer tribute band from Galway.seen them afew years ago. I'm based in Dublin,in the city centre and would be up for a weezer tribute or weezer inspired originals band.

    They're solid enough, more Jimmy Eat than Weezer for my liking though! Are you the new Rivers to help us in Weeper / Ventolin Paul?!?!

    Super duper! This is super. I'll press on looking for a singer, I've one guy in mind that might be able to help me out. In the meantime, all Rivers wannabes PLEASE step in, we're really nice guys, friendly too, impecably well groomed might I add!

    Based in South Dublin. Yourself? Could be monuMENTAL! All you have to do is get a cheap pair of sunglasses (Lucky bag or a promotion of somekind!) and knock out the lenses... there you have it.... Rivers Cuomo! :)

    Little from column A little from column B. Originals is what I want but I think to get started and up and running with new people learning Weezer songs would be a dnady way to do it! You interested my inquisative friend?

    So long as its an origionals band your interested in starting and not a covers band. I'm very hygienic but I dont wear glasses or anything
