Hey, anyone know what exactly the deal is for cars being allowed onto campus when people are moving into accommodation? Do you need to have keycard etc to present at the gate or how exactly does it work? Does it have to be during certain hours or anything?

Just drive up to Lincoln Place, security will let you in when you tell them you're moving in your stuff (and it's usually fairly evident by the overflowing car). They'll usually say something like "You've got 15 minutes", so that you aren't parked in there all day, but that'll be more than enough time to drop in all your stuff and drive out again.

They won't ask for a keycard or anything as you won't have it until you've gone to the accomodation office and picked it up.

Goshdarnit, that seems way too straightforward for Trinity! ;) Cool, thanks for that.

Aye, it's oddly without red tape. I simply uttered the words "moving in" to the man at Lincoln gate, he nodded and put up the barrier. Didn't even ask for student ID. They can you see on cctv from pretty much anywhere, perhaps why they're not so worried.

... Also, what fun driving on the cobblestones of front square, a detour really since I'm not living there ;)
