Advise on opening new account with stockbroker

    Im fairly new to all this but have been watching the stock market for a while and am planning to buy some shares.

    which one is the cheapest/easist to use?
    was thinking bout going with sharewatch but not sure how i go about registering with them,
    do i phone them or can i do it online or what?

    has anyone had any experience with any other ones?
    heard about davystockbrokers.com too

    Also does anyone know about investing with aib?
    how do u go about doing this?

    Here is an article on comparing online brokers for trading shares.

    In relation to AIB we are not out of the troubled water yet. Although the move to guarantee all Irish deposits will help. Make sure you know the risks first.

    look at National Irish Bank. Can do share dealing with there online account. it works out cheaper that others

    can i do this with aib? as i am allready a member of that bank
    if so can i apply for it online or would i have to go in to see them?

    yep u can. asfaik aib own goodbody, so essentially you're opening an account with them through aib.
