Montessori School

I'm at an advanced stage of setting up a Montessori School on the southside of Dublin with a view to expanding rather quickly if the expected returns happen.

I would be very interested to speak with anyone who has any experience in running multiple child based businesses as I am finding it (unsurprisingly) difficult to get any concrete answers from the government authorities regarding what legislation it is possible to cover on a company, rather than a site by site basis, as this obviously has a huge impact on costs etc.

I have a person employed who is going to operate the school and she has several years experience in this sector and I have put her through the relevant courses (both Paediatric and health & saftely wise) and she has completed the advanced diploma with the St Nicholas Society. I'm, mnore lookign for the detail on hours required etc and the effective time they need to spend onsite (obviously all other staff have the required basic training also).

If anyone has any experience with this I'd love to pick your brain about it.

    Thanks in advance.
