OK... I don't really know where to put this at all.. So i'm just gonna put it here, bookmark it, go to bed, and check back tomorrow (it will likely have been moved to the right place.. if there is a right place.)

Anyway, with that out of the way...

What would you need to be qualified in to do this kinda stuff?

    (From 0:00 to about 2:50)

I'm talking about the lighting, music, videos, graphics, pyro, etc. thats used during each wrestlers intro.

Eg: When CM Punk walks to the ring, his personalised video appears on the screen, the lights either side of it begin to rapidly flash blue, and his tattoo designs are scrawled across the stage in a bright arena setting. But the instant Kane's pyro goes off, all the graphics switch to a fiery blaze, the screen changes to Kane's video and the arena lights darken and go red/orange, etc. etc.

Now, i know there's obviously a group of people that work with this. I know that the pyro has its own group, but im not so sure about the other stuff. (I don't know if there's a different group for music, a different group for video, lights, etc. or if there's just one small group of guys that operate it all at the same time).

Would anyone know what kinda career path you'd have to follow in order to be doing that kinda stuff?

I'd have originally thought something along the lines of sound engineering, but im not really sure (plus that wouldnt have anything got to do with the visual side of things i wouldnt imagine).

    Anyone got any idea?

Didn't watch the video but doesn't that sort of thing go on in theatres all the time? So stage management?

There's different artists working together on each discipline. They pretty much sit around the table, each with their own idea and pretty much try and tie it all together. I don't know how much input the actual wrestler has. Then there's one director who's job it is to pretty much time everything and get it together.

If you're serious about going down this path, first of all, I'd narrow it down to what field interests you most - costumes, visuals, pyrotechnics, sound.... and then look around. The Gaeity might be good place to start.

An alternative to the wrestling scenario is Cirque Du Soleil, and in particular Guy Laliberte.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Stayed with it for the match tbh , would Fozzy not know where to direct you?

Look at Television Operations courses in places like Ballyfermot, two years I believe. Obviously it would take some time before you were directing the whole thing but you would be responsible for some aspect of something to begin with and work your way up as with any job.

    Courses that would help...

    TV Operations
    Photography
    Cinematography
    Acoustic Engineering

Im sure theres many more, they just pop up at first to me...
