You taking bets on the number of runner for this Stephen?

    :p

(Are we joking about this yet?)

lol, yes we are most definitely joking about this now :) ... ... And no, I am never ever laying a bet on Boards again :)

I don't think there will be many players left in the rest of the country (outside Killarney) on Sunday but we will see. Expecting maybe 60 players for this.

It was getting a bit of reaction on the Belfast poker forum, but that was mainly players suggesting we try a different structure altogether to the one we are trying here.

    Cheers,
    Stephen.

was thinkin of headin down to this, but come on stephen the structure is horrible. 6k starting at 25/50? whats the reasons for downgrading the once excellent structure u had in place. turns the event into a crapshoot the previous structure was perfect.

    Hi Mully,

The long structure was costing us money mate, a fair bit of money at that.

We also think that starting later in the day will attract more players in the door, but we still have to finish at about the same time.

Hope to see you there....We will see how this one goes, then will change it again if it the feedback is not positive.

    Stephen.

    Cheers Semibluff,

Yeah with Killarney on I think we were always going to be down on numbers and with the new format we were trying I think we got a bit of mixed reaction.

We will keep ploughing on though, the cash game action is always very healthy at this tournament but most of the action was in Killarney in the form of Baz Hand :).

    Will post full results shortly.

Conor Tuite took down his second Dundalk 100, I think he is nailed on to qualify for the Irish Open €10,500 free-roll.
