    fom pwinsider.com
Scheduled for tonight's Raw will be WWE champ Chris Jericho & Lance Cade vs. Shawn Michaels and a mystery partner. The partner was not named in the script for tonight's show. If you look at the backstage notes, there was a pretty major WWE name backstage so I'd put smart money on him, but CM Punk would make sense as well. I am wondering if WWE is banking on Kevin Nash rumors.

As I reported earlier today, there is also an eight man tag team bout scheduled for Raw.

Evan Bourne is backstage so his involvement in the Kane vs. Rey Mysterio feud will continue.

    I smell Diesel fuel. :p

I'd say HHH is very likely. Their main goal for this Raw is to get over Smackdown changing networks, so it would make sense to have Smackdown's champion on the show to really drill the point home

Just what I was thinking Fozzy:pac: I'd say they will be pushing the whole Wrestlemania premiere, Smackdown etc. And as far as I know they are having superstars from all 3 brands on Friday nights show.

Surely they would announce a one night only return of D-X though? I mean, if they want to promote Smackdown's network change tonight than surely the best way to do that is to get the biggest number watching as possible, and announcing a D-X return is infinitely more likely to have an affect than not and thus expose the network change.

For what it's worth, my money is on Paul London

Going down the trained by Shawn Michaels route are we?

    Danielson maybe lol? :p

Looks like Cade is finally getting abit of a rub out of this angle (which I presume was the point of putting him with Jericho) Better than him following Jericho around like a mindless drone anyway

    Trevor Murdoch FTW!

Back to take his frustrations out on Cade for the push he should have been given..... I coulda been a contender Lance!!

Well it happened before but Marty couldn't stay on the straight and narrow but you never know I guess.

It won't be as much of a shocker if it does happen now that I have said it here will it? My apologies for ruining it if it turns out to be him :)

If hes always backstage at raw then why was he drafted to smackdown?!

One of the main reasons was so he could have more time at home by not having to be Raw.

Not true. One of the main reasons was Smackdown moving Networks. HHH & Stephanie are at Raw the vast majority of time. They have their own tour bus, nanny and the use of a private jet. HHH is on the road Saturday-Tuesday which includes attending both tapings.

Has Jillian Hall had more work done?

I liked seeing Jericho and HHH go at it again (i would so love to see them feud again)

What happened to the Cryme Tyme amd Team Priceless and Speechless feud????????

Evan Bourne impresses more and more and i would love to see him and Rey or him and CM Punk as Tag Champs in the future

Anyone else think CM Punk looks like John Hamm from Mad Men

Not too sure about John Hamm. Anyone think Punk has a Jim Carrey (in his younger years) look about him?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 21,235 ✭✭✭✭flahavaj

Punk just looks like he hasn't slept in about 3 weeks lately. Maybe he should take something to help him sleep.;)

*prays for a quote in Powerslam.*:pac:

can anyone tell me, (i know how cm punk lost his title), but was that it? was there another reason behind it? was he injured? was a bit lame how they did it.

also, did it look to anyone else after raw, when hbk jumped from the ladder, that he looked like he really hurt himself??

Is he breaking character, or is he just humouring the situation before ending it, like a lot of heels (And faces for that matter) have done in the past?
Ranjin Singh didn’t just laugh, he occupied Charlie to the ring, was he breaking character too?

He broke character. He realised he was laughing and tried to disguise it, watch the show.

Incredibly, these Charlie Haas skits are making me laugh on a weekly basis. Wonder how long they can keep pulling it off however. Comedy gimmicks rarely have any long-term value.

I’ve watched the show thanks, wouldn’t comment otherwise, like I said the segment involves him playing along for a minute, just like Ranjin Singh did by coming out with Charlie, so I don’t think the laughter was necessarily “breaking character”. He has played along with a funny skit like this before.

Comedy gimmicks where a wrestler impersonates other wrestlers have even less long term value.
Plus with Charlie, he's just plain goofy, it's more of the Adamle syndrome where you're laughing at him not with him, I think he's on borrowed time.

He has too little personality to warrant being called goofy.

I like Charlie Haas skits. I wish he was given a push maybe for the IC title feuding with Mr. Unibrow Santino Marella. Santino could be Haas's next skit.

I'm guessing Glamarella will becoming to an end soon which is a shame since they are a good couple/partnership.

Maybe its time for a face turn for Khali

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 6,478 ✭✭✭Bubs101

I'd agree with a Haas Intercontinental title win but only if he wins it as the Honky Tonk Hass and Santino gets it back the next week

Wha happened to Jillian Halls lips?? did she have a bad reaction to some seafood??

Anybody else see a similarity between Mike Adamle & Steve Carrell in the US Office?

...and so the furthur degradation of the IC title continues. On Raw we had Batista just crush the IC champion. Way to say "Well I could easily win that belt if I wanted to but why would I lower myself"
