I'm a 2nd yr med student and really lacking in funds for college. I got an A1 twice in higher level maths...anyone think it's a good idea to offer grinds for junior & leaving cert students?and if so you got any tips???

Well, while you know the information the real question is can you give that information to someone else? Just because you get an A1 doesn't mean that you would be good at giving grinds.

But it's definitely a good way to get money during college.

I'd say give it a go. If you're decent people will recommend you and that means €€€

Id agree with Myth. If you feel you can teach, go for it. Its a great way to earn money.
You have to be willing to do some lesson planning and need to know the course you are teaching.
Certain students are quite hard to teach!! Just to keep that in mind..
Money wise, its can be quite lucrative. 25 an gots doing 3 or 4 grinds a week.
I got mine by putting up ads in the local shop, got loads of replies, but only took on three.. Theres a definite demand out there.
