I'm looking to get one of these. The best deal I've seen so far is €899 in Alliance Electrical. Is this the best price for this particular TV, or does anyone know of a better offer?
    Thanks.

Do you really need a uhf tuner??If not, you can get this delivered for ~750e.the 37px80 is identical to the 37pv80 except it does'nt have a uhf tuner, vhf only.It would be perfect if you use sky or ntl.

Even with RicherSounds 5 year guarantee (I'll get a five year guarantee included in the price if I go with Alliance), the px80 comes in at <€800 when ordered from England which is better than Alliance, and I'm only using Sky so don't need the UHF tuner. The only problem is that the website says it is no longer available for delivery, and looking at the Richersounds.ie website: http://www.richersounds.ie/asp/product.asp?ObjectID=938&Mode=0&CategoryID=6&SUB=43&ProductID=769 , rather than the English one, the price is £739.00 or approx. €935 including delivery. So it looks like the Alliance deal is better after all, now that the TV is no longer available for delivery from RicherSounds.com.

@wall, how is the TV working out? I'm particularly interested what SD is like on it, since I heard this particular TV was pretty good for SD, and I don't plan on upgrading to Sky HD any time soon.

Thanks for the help guys, looks like I'm going to go with Alliance since I need to get a TV soon (The sound went on my old TV the day I got Sky in, well it was giving trouble for a while before that but since then I've been using an old 14" CRT :( ).
