Laptop,smudgey screen repair???

    Hi,i seem to have damaged the screen on my laptop somehow,i think it got a bang.Any thr result is that there is a kinda smudge like a finger print only about an inch wide going across tha screen about 10inchs and it is moveing,so does anyone know if this can be repaired or is it a bin job..

    A moving blob sounds like there's something putting too much pressure on the LCD, or bending it a little. Though I can't be sure without seeing it, it may be as simple as taking the cover off, and re-seating the panel by loosening and tightening the screws. If you can't find instructions on how to do this safely, or if it has warranty, best speak to the manufacturer IMHO.
