Reason being, currently have an '81 & recently came across an excellent condition '88 (3, 500cc) but did not want to take the plunge as would not be in the position to tax these aswell as my car/wifes car etc

That was my post. It was definitely said here by a poster who claimed to have a very reliable inside source. I tried searching for the thread a couple of times, but couldn't find it. I do have an enquiry in progress though, and will report if I get any info.
