On winning his NI-DAN (2nd Dan) at todays IJA Dan grading in Finglas.

Unusually I don't have any photos this time, however Gary fought hard & fair to put up another gold stripe on his belt.

Gary Bergin, Team Ryano/BJJ Revolution and Portmarnock Judo - weldone and a big congrats.

    I didn't get on :(

Did I tell you I'd fractured a rib?.. Its still exceptionally sore, can't bend, pull, laugh/cough/sneeze. I was going to wing it, but I'd have been wasting my time.

Don't think so Wayne. Judo is very different to BJJ (no wiping thank god)........The most you'll get is a free throw !!!

Mairt : thanks for the support on Saturday !

"Nancie Armstrong, the girl that was injured suffered no serious injury but will have a sore neck and shoulders for a whil eand her coach Harry McGuigan would like to thank the first aid people and the paramedics for their help and also the people attending the grading for their patience and understanding while first aid was being administerd.

It was quite a worying looking injury but luckily she's okay.
