I've had sort of the same problem. Dry skin with spots aka combination skin is really annoying, but I've been using this moisturizer by Pond's for dry skin for quite a few months and I absolutely adore it. My skin isn't PERFECT but it's a lot more even than it was and I have no more dry skin or spots-- just one or two once in a blue moon.

Unfortunately I have no idea if they have this specific stuff over here in Ireland as I brought mine over from back home in Canada, if they don't then I'm honestly considering shipping it out because it made my skin feel so soft and nothing else would get my skin right.

I'm also in my early 20's.

Sometimes the product you use will overly dry your skin. Your skin compensates by producing lots of oil to hydrate it again. Thus you end up with both spots and dry skin. I would use different products which are more gentle. It may fix both problems.

If your getting spots/pimples on your chin then you have combination skin and apart from being dry your obviously producing oil to create spots so using a product such as elave is extremely drying and may dry out your skin so this could be part of the problem.Try using a sensitive product for combination skin or even use the elave but not on tzone.

I am beauty therapist i see a lot of people with this problem and they all stick to using products for dry skin for some reason. Use whatever range you like whether it's vichy, roc or even simple but get a cleanser and moisturiser for combination skin and get an alcohol free toner as this won't strip the skin of it's natural oils which you need.
When your skin as cleared up stop using the combination products because it is probably only a phase your skin is going through it does not mean you will always have combination skin.Hope this helps:)
