I think Pool will take Everton handy enough.

The 6/5 Powers are giving is a huge price.

I think the Aston Villa v Sunderland could be quite a game, wonder can I watch it at the same time :)

    ---

Kalou gets the start he deserves, really is a cracking player.

Apparently Joe Kinnear is watching from the stands because he's serving a 2-match ban. Which he was given in 2004.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,254 ✭✭✭Esse85

Villa are taking control of the game as we approach half time. Still we could do with another goal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,254 ✭✭✭Esse85

    Barry nearly turned it in.

    Good first half from NRC

We've had 7 chances on goal in the first half, Newcastle have had none. Seen Joe Kinnear nodding his head from side to side in a very unhappy fashion.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 88,972 ✭✭✭✭mike65

Dunno why Kinnear is worried, a cheque for doing sod all!

    Fulham 1-2 West Ham
    Man Utd 2-0 Bolton
    Boro 0-1 WBA
    Newc 1-2 Blackburn
    Stoke 0-2 Chelsea

    All FT I think.

    You couldn't ****ing script it!!

    eh, I'd say you could:
    Scene: Old Trafford (Saturday afternoon)
    Atmosphere: Fanatical

    Plot:
    Utd vs Random team
    Bogey referee.
Ronaldo dives/falls/fumbles/cries/etc (admires his greasy reflection on big screen)
    Penalty! (undeserved)
    Scores
Utd get a 2nd against a demoralised opposition so the penalty really didnt matter
    Poor performance all round.
Fergie chews gum and boasts about how great he his team is

Arsenal playing some magical stuff. All that's missing is a goal.

Nothing too out of the ordinary there :D

Throw in United scamming another win through a dodgy penalty at home and you have a normal week :)

just tuned into the last 10 minutes of the first half. is it just me or do arsenal look tired? able to pass it around comfortably but when they have to raise it in that final third they just fizzle out instead.

arse have their goal, been applying all the pressure in the early stages of the second half.

not sure if its a fabregas goal or just an OG..

    1-0 Arsenal

McShane with another own goal! Trapo'Tony should stick him up front, he guarantee's a goal a game!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,383 ✭✭✭S.M.B.

I wouldn't blame McShane too much though.

I do, he's cost me FF points.
Although knowing Arsenal, instead of finishing, Fabergas wouldve probably passed back to Almunia then on to Gallas then to Eboue, then back to Denilson before passing to.....

    absolutely savage equaliser from Geovanni!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,383 ✭✭✭S.M.B.

True, but more importantly, what the hell are you doing with Hull defenders in your FF?

    Cracking goal by Giovanni!

    2-1:eek:

i think he meant that if McShane hadn't put it away, Fabregas would have, thus McShane cost him the points he would have made from Fabs (im in the same boat).

    <edit>
Hull 2-1 up! Fantastic header into the top corner!

Yeh as a mate of mine says "watching Arsenal is like playing pro evo or fifa with the shoot button broke"

On another note fair play to Hull! First goal was a screamer and the 2nd was a super header, by Cousin. Expect Wenger to bring on Vela and co shortly.

    Could Arsenal actually loose this?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,383 ✭✭✭S.M.B.

I was thinking earlier on that this game was reminding me of that crucial Arsenal - Birmingham game from last season.

Hull might of scored too early though.
