I've could only go on the last day and pics look more snaps than anything good
I just didn't know what to expect and it was much quicker than I thought it was (in 10 minutes they were gone from flat)

C&C and more pics of this event are more than welcome

I really like #1, great colour & composition! There seem to be shadows (?) to the right & left of the image but you don't have a link to full size image to see it properly.
#2 is a bit distorted, something I myself am learning about at the moment. http://www.dpreview.com/learn/?/key=focal+length -this might be helpful. :)

I think so too, no1 is great

    thanks
yes, the shadows were balloons on the side of this one getting inflated, not much I could do there, in fact I didn't even see that until back home as I've taken the pics extending my arm over the basket to get as much centred as possible

yes, there is distortion, mostly because all of them were taken at extreme wide angles 11mm for #1 and #2 and 16mm for #3 and that's what you get with them (some corrections could have been done but I didn't want to crop them any further after corrections)

I don't know what that means but I don't think so (just in case it means something not nice :))

    Hi All,

I am the owner and pilot of that multi-coloured balloon. I would really appreciate if the photographer would mind emailing me hi-res files of image No1 and No 3.

    Many Thanks,
