Took 800 odd pictures today. Kept 150. Trying to take good photos with only 2 hours sleep, and a mate who has no patience is not good. Going back tomoro with the goddaughter, so should have more :)

Nice shots. #5 is excellent, really like it a lot.

#5 is my favourite too, some of the others seem under exposed.

    1 is a little soft

    1, 2 and 6 are a little underexposed

3, an owl's defining feature is probably his eyes(and face) so this shot doesn't capture a lot. poor pose i guess if she was a model so maybe try again focusing on the face?

4, you shouldn't cut off the penguins fins as his flapping is the focus of the shot. it'd be like a football photo where the striker is about to strike the ball but you fail to capture him actually striking the ball

7, is a little noisy. maybe you should try to reduce the ISO

5, best of the bunch. nice dof, colour and use of light and dark.

1, 5 & 6 are my favourites. There is a halo round the chimp in 2, probably HDR blending or dodge and burning, but I am acutely sensitive to that stuff, so it probably is not as noticable to others.

Yeah I changed the exposure on them in Lightroom, so it's easily fixed. I went for a darker image, but it's easily fixed. Off to the zoo again now, but will fix it when I get back, and post it up.

    Thanks to everyone.
