Need help with Wordpress and Google

    Hi,
    I've registered a domain with Blacknight and installed Wordpress to run a blog from there. I should say now that I am pretty clueless when it comes to the technical side of things (I've previously had a hosted blog which was nice and simple but now need the domain name). The problem is I've been up and running for a couple of weeks now and can't find the blog anywhere. Not on Google, not on Technorati, not on Bloglines, Yahoo, Ask - anywhere.

    I've installed a metatag plug in to the blog and assign each post it's own metatags as well as overall tags for the site. I've registered with Google and I've pinged Technorati and added Technorati tags to each post. Surely I should be a blip somewhere by now. I haven't sent Google a sitemap yet because I can't work out how to make one and the plug in I've installed to Wordpress to do it for me will only use Linux commands and I'm using Windows (to run the blog, not on my computer I'm not that dumb).

    I'm completely baffled and confused. Can anyone help? Please?
