Trouble booting into vista?

    Hi my dell dimension 9200 desktop only boots as far as this option:

    1.Safe mode
    2.Safe mode with networking
    3.start windows normally

    im sure ye have all seen this screen but none of these options work for me,it just stalls like it cant locate the OS or something...any ideas?

    reboot pc,hold down f8 ,use arrow key,go to advanced disk restore mode/recovery mode, its sumthin like that ,its like the 6th/7th option in the boot menu .or google vista advanced boot options , it restores vital boot up files ,or repairs them ,sounds like you have a virus or malware.

    ya tried that same thing computer just hangs on all options,cant enter safe mode and last known good config file,both hang...doesnt leave me many options does it...

    have you tried to boot from the vista disc and run through the repair options?
