Reccomendations for a new Dance fan, any suggestions?

Hi Lads,

I've always had a pretty open view when it comes to music. Always listened to a bit of dance/trance/electronic/ect. but recently I've been listening to more and more. Looking to boost my library in that area. From the radio I'd recognize lots of the big tracks but I have no idea of the artists or titles. So, spew them out please, things like Children, or anything really with a good beat. Just kinda want a point to start from, if you know what I mean.

Just go old school, the rest will follow from there. Ignore most of what you hear today, the best is definately in the past.
YouTube is your friend, type in classic house and see where you go from there.
A catchy beat is easy to create, a classic tune has to be felt from the heart.
Look in the underrated classics thread and you will find some true gems.
