advice needed on toning pleeeease!!

    hiya, im relatively new to the whole fitness thing. Managed to shed half a stone gained over the lousy summer in just 4 weeks so I'm on a roll!! I am 22, childless, and by no means 'big' at a size 8-10. Altho I'm happy with my weight and size I can't seem to tone up. My stomach itself is flat in the sense it doesnt hang over my trousers but theres a layer of flabby skin, if thats how I could describe it, that makes it undefined. Will sit ups alone rid me of this and how long till i see results? I also hav a fat under my armpit that i cant seem to shift, and no its not an ill-fiting bra, coz its always there!! I startd using my boyfriends bench weights, will this help and again how long till i see results? I watch what I eat and go for a 4 mile walk at least 3 times a week, plus the occasional swim.

    Sorry, Im not very clued up on fitness and toning and m heading away in a months time so want to look my best. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

    You can't spot reduce, sit ups make your abdominal muscles stronger but little more. To loose the fat around your belly you have to loose fat around your whole body.
