    Hey people,

I have a plain black dress, kinda cutesy, but have no shoes for it!! I want to wear tights with it, but I want shoes that kinda say something, cos the dress and tights will both be black.

any ideas? I know your all good at this!!

    Pics would help!

    Hi SarahJ,

I cannot recommend Buffalo shoes enough. They have a shop on Exchequer Street and a concession on the first floor of a_wear on Henry Street. For heels, prices range from about €80 to €160. Shoes are excellent quality made from gorgeous leathers and suedes in every colour under the sun. I reccomend these:

for a retro twist, but with the "wow" factor. Prices in store are more expensive than on the website, but they do deliver to Ireland if you prefer online shopping. Just try them on in the shop first- they can be quite small fitting.

    I also like these:

They come in 3 to 4 colours and are surprisingly comfy. I love the Art Deco feel of these pair. Lash in a pair of animal print in-soles (Topshop) and you'll dance all night with no pain.

    Happy shopping :)

Sorry to butt in here, but as the shoe ladies are already on, here goes..

Have recently bought two pairs of killer heels, really loving wearing them, but oh my god the pain! The burning of the soles, the feeling of shin splints the next day, the back pain. Is this normal?? Do habitual wearers suffer like this?? Any advice welcome!

If you're worried about adding colour, you could go with a colour for your accessories. I have a lovely black prom dress that I wear with black shoes but they have sparkley/red-ish diamante in them. So my bag, earrings, necklace and shawl are red too.

Doesn't sound like your dress is formal? So you could maybe get away with more colour in the shoe.

Try New Look, as they have loads of coloured shoes.
