Left by the Theology tower and turn right past Philosophy place. Up the stairs into statistics square. When you get as far as the English cottage you have gone too far.

Almost all of the lectures for sociology take place in the Arts Building, but the actual department offices are located on Dame Street. Basically if you walk out of the front gate of Trinity, keep going for about 100 metres and you'll see a Starbucks on the right hand side. The entrance to the building is immediately beside Starbucks. The sociology offices are on the third floor.

All of what Stargal said, but be warned when you get in there. It can be a bit of a rabbit warren.

You know I really think that little tidbit of comic genius on the Board's behalf is all too often overlooked. Really like, it's hilarious.

Look out for the bathrooms with carpet in College Green and beware Dr Ronit Lentil Soup.

I rememebr arguing with her about feminism back which I was idealistic and thought the world was equal. I really feel I should go back and say she was right and I was foolish.

The Museum Building? I'll agree that it is one of the most beautiful buildings in Trinity, but I object to it being called the Geography building! Geography only occupies part of downstairs, the building also houses Engineering and Geology, and it is named the Museum Building after the geological museum upstairs [/pedantry] :D

I'm very sorry...I now know that it is more correct to call it the Museum building...It will be really cool to talk to anyone studying geology ( plutonic rocks RULE!!!! ) and i have a few friends studying engineering...The mix of courses should make it quite interesting :D oooh n thank you Fishie , I now also know that geography is downstairs :)

Ahahaha don't mind me, I'm a Geology student myself so I'm always correcting people about the Museum Building on these boards, don't take it personally! If you're interested in Geology there's two things you should do - join the Joly Geological Society (currently sharing a gazebo with the Rifle Club in front square, the Rifle Club are very nice people) - it's €2 and you get to make your own badge and you get a Flake, and you can come along to pub crawls, drinks receptions, film nights etc during the year, along with the occasional hiking/camping trip; also, you should head upstairs to the geological museum that the Museum Building is named after! There's loads of really cool fossils, gemstones etc up there, there's a lecturer called Patrick who is usually happy to show people around or you can just have a wander yourself. Nobody seems to know that it is there - you go up the left-hand staircase, turn left and walk along the balcony until you get to the computer room, then turn right and you'll see a wooden staircase. Go up it and then turn round and you'll see the sign for the museum, the door is usually open!
