stay away from done deal. join "the hunting life" forum, theres lots of irish lads on there with lurchers they might be able to point you in the right direction. do you not know anyone in your area with a litter of pups? buying off people you dont know isnt the best way to aquire a dog. alot of chancers out there selling ****e. pm me your number, i'll ask around and if i hear of anything decent i'll ring you. you'd be better off buying a pup and rearing it yourself, NO ONE sells a good working dog. if someone is selling a dog and they say its great and does this and that......why are they selling it?

    I agree with whitser.

Take your time buying one though - better to let a few pass if your now sure than to be stuck with an animal that's wrong for you.

Think about what you want to do with it too - so many different crosses out there! BullX are very popular at the moment - most are fine for fox but a lot wouldn't be the best for rabbits.

i think if your looking for an all rounder ie. lamping and day time hunting of rabbits and foxes then go for greyhound x irish terrier, wheaten, collie or bedlington or even better again lurcher x lurcher once they are good working parents.
