I'm looking for a Dublin City Rugby Club

    Hey all,

I've been traveling for a few years and want to get back into playing the game now that I'm setup in Dublin again. I'm looking for a club with a decent setup somewhere near Phibsboro and Conyngham Rd(Park Gate St by Hueston Station).

I run to work in Phibsboro and would like to have a club I could run to. I'm the fittest I've been since SCT so I'm keen to hit the paddock.

    Any suggestions?

    Cheers
    Denis

What kind of standard would you be lookin' for?

Check out the "So you wanna play rugby?" thread at the top of the forum.

Unidare RFC train at DCU's grounds on Ballymun road, opposite direction I know, but not that far from Phibsboro, but the area you've given isn't really awash with clubs.

Thanks for the input, I know of Unidare alright, I'm looking to see what all the options are.

Standard wise I'm not sure really. I've played alot JCT SCT, U20, College and League just before I left all at a good standard.

Well, I don't know of any clubs in the area you've described who would be of a good standard.

Thanks for the pointers Amz. I was looking at Unidare but I would prefer to train twice a week and their only once. Does anyone know where my nearest twice a week club might be?

Coolmine perhaps. they are out near the halfway house on the N4

I wasn't pushing for Unidare, but they're hte only club in the general vicinity.

If he's going to go as far as Coolmine he'd be as well looking at places like Bective, or Belvo or Clontarf.

How often do the Celtic Warriors train?

Clontarf would be close enough from Phibs
