NTL DVR second box can you move it around the house?

    I got the DVR box it is great, I have a second box one of paice ones, I sometimes move it around the house and have a little shed with a TV point that it works in as well.
    If I order a second DVR box instead of the Paice one - do you know can this be moved around the house as well?

    Technically yes. However last I heard it was only one DVR per house hold. This may have changed.

    It used to be one per house, but that is definitely no longer the case .... I have more than one :)
    AND, installation is FREE ... just €5 per month extra.

    On the upc website,it says that its €50 for installation.

    Extra DVR box, definitely no installation charge.
    OP, yes you can move it as far as I know.

    You'd want to be careful enough moving the DVR around on a regular basis. Hard disk drives can not take much shock, so if you drop it it's likely you'll kill the HDD.

    Checked with a friend in UPC, extra DVR box does not get an installation charge. However, if you need to order the extra point to put it on, you will get a €50 installation charge.
