Sorry guys how long does it usually take for a neteller withdrawal to hit your bank account I've been waiting a week now and I always remember them being done in two or three days.

It's been taking 5 working days for me recently to withdraw to a bank of ireland account.

Request on sunday, in the account Friday evening for my last 3 withdrawals

Long delays are not uncommon in my experience of about a year with NT. I was waiting 2 months about 6 months ago for one transfer.

But in fairness I have noticed they have been a wee bit quicker in recent months, usually 5-7 working days for transfers.

All in all, my impression of NT is that they are rude, expensive and inefficient. Maybe that's improving recently, but I'd still change from them in a heartbeat if I had any other option, which sadly I don't.

I've used neteller for 4 at least years and I think it's a fantastic service. I've never known neteller support to be rude on the phone. As for being expensive, as a neteller VIP all charges for bank transfers are refunded to me at the end of every month, but before then it only cost $1. When I wanted to change from a $ account to a € account they were very helpful and it wasn't hard to do.

As for transfer times it's now gone out to 4-5 working days. I don't know why this is as for me it used to take a max of 48 hours and sometimes less than 24 hours.

Well that's quite startling to hear Nicky as my experiences are totally different and I honestly cannot recall hearing many people with good things to say about them.

That said, I am not a VIP (didn't even know VIP status existed), and my average monthly transfer is only around $1,000 but for that I am charged over €20, which to me is outrageous.

As for rudeness, I have never spoken to them on the phone, but on email they have been atrociously curt and rude with me in the past, and their provision of information when something goes wrong is shockingly bad (although improving as I mentioned earlier).

i never actually noticed this before but nicky is correct about the refunds.
it is listed as adjustment and i presume u have to be a vip member.
as for withdrawals to bank account, usually arond 5 working days for me

Fee Rebates only for our VIP members

Being a NETELLER VIP has its perks with foreign exchange rebates to 1.75% (from 2.5%) and free withdrawals* through cash back rebates.

    Compare fees

    Regular NETELLER Member VIP
Withdrawal Option USD EUR GBP SEK CAD
    Bank Transfer 10 7.5 5 65 10 0
    Cheque (regular mail) 10 7.5 5 65 10 0
    Cheque (courier) 35 25 17.5 230 35 0
    Foreign Exchange
    Foreign Exchange 2.50% 2.50% 2.50% 2.50% 2.50% 1.75%

How do the fee rebates work? CASH BACK!
During the regular course of your transactions, you will need to pay our full withdrawal and foreign exchange fees. But at the end of each month, we will automatically add up all of the fees you paid and rebate you on or before the 10th of the following month (100% rebate for withdrawal fees* and a rebate for the difference between our normal foreign exchange rate of 2.5% and your reduced rate of 1.75%).

    * Does not include Prepaid Card fees.
