    Hey guys,

I live in Prospect Way, out in Glasnevin, just moved recently. Anyway, I've just started doing some HIIT after getting bored of conventional jogging, and was wondering if there were any football pitches close to my area I could use to sprint about on.

Can't find any myself. Any suggestions?

    Thanks in advance.

Na Fianna GAA club's just up Botanic Avenue.

Albert College Park's further up the road again (no more than a 10 min jog from Prospect way).

Drumcondra FC's pitch is opposite Tolka Park where Shelbourne FC play.

The Rosmini pitches are at the back St Jospeh's School for the visually impaired just off Gracepark Road.

There's a massive amount just around the corner from Whitehall Garda station on the jct. of the Swords Road and Griffith Avenue.

ALL of them are within an easy 20 minute jog of Prospect Way, most are <10 mins away.

    EDIT:

The DCU pitches are just off Ballymun Road too, in behind Glasnevin Tennis Club

There's some of St. Vincents GAA pitches not too far away either but I couldnt' give exact directions.

Fire up google earth and look at your area. Its amazing the green areas you find that you never know existed.
