Stock must be seen. Will be going for Auction on Saturday 27th September @ 11am. Strictly € 500 Cash to get a bidding number {refundable if no purchases is made}. You must have a bidding number to bid.

What if you purchase something for €50? I hope you get your €450 back?

If there are more people together, getting a bidding number would be less painful. And I haven't found where is the location of the auction. I am willing to go for a trip...

Items like this dont come along very often.

Why not go and view what they have to see if anything worth it before going to auction itself and stumping €500??

It's almost at my backyard! I'll go to see the list of items in the morning. Even knowing that I wouldn't buy a thing...

    From the PDF:
    Selection of Camera’s c/w accessories & Hard Cases {Canon, Sinar & Sigma}

It doesn't mention the actual models of course, but there is a camera lurking in this image which could be one of the Sinars.

Yep, that's what I was thinking, there's another LF rail system in the box from what I can see, and what looks like a Canon 1 series body in the background on the left.

Looks more like a bunch of Fuji GX's, older models ....
    http://fujifilm.jp/personal/filmcamera/mediumformat/gx680iii/index.html

They're a range of MF SLRs with front standards that are linked to the body with bellows, focused on rails, and have full movements. They're nice. Also extraordinarily delicate, heavy, and expensive.

erm, if I went and bid for the 5D w/24-70, no one here would bid against me, right?

    Wrong,

But I've set my maximum. Much lower than knowing where the camera came from though. I'd be factoring in a Canon check/calibration to the price.

Pity they don't say what the "various lenses" are though

I'm interested in seeing the lights, the GX 680 III, the Hasselblad lenses and the Sinar...

If the Lightphase was going for VERY good value, I'd consider it, but only if it was going on it's own, I've no need for another 500C/M body.

Actually, I'd be looking at very good value on all of the above - I'm sure they've all gotten their fair share of use! :p

enough of the gear porn lads... I take it this means nortons is kaput and a few photographers have lost their jobs. Sad news.

    Don't forget commission plus VAT.

Wilsons in Portadown never has anything like this.

    Edit:

Just looked at Nortons website, they had 9 people working for them. Some great shoots on there website. I feel sorry for those 9 staff. Hopefully they get sorted out with work etc.
