    as above, what can i use instead of fresh coconut, need some grated for a curry??

    damn, just back from shop and never though of that. its for an indian chicken stew so i think the coconut milk will do the trick

    In many asian food stores you can get Santan which is a dried powdered coconut cream, you mix it up in varying quantities to get the desired consistency.
    It comes in a silver and yellow foil bag.
    Great stuff for cooking and lasts a long time.
