Looking forward to seeing this, reaction from the toronto film festival is very good, and the pics on IMDB look great. Apparantly Colin Farrell has a 'punch her in the face' bit , the director must have seen Intermission.

Its Stateside in oct, not sure when the release is over here.

In the movie, Farrell plays Sgt Jimmy Egan, a corrupt cop who uses his family life to justify his violent ways.
The star said his own family was able to help him through tough times.
He said: "It's nice to have love in your life. And it's possibly even nicer when it's unconditional and that's what you get from family. Family also comes with its pitfalls, as everyone knows.
"There's responsibilities and there's a certain weight that comes with love and obligation at times. You know, my family are great. We're very close and really good friends, yeah."
Edward Norton co-stars in the film as Detective Ray Tierney, the brother-in-law to Farrell's character.
Pride & Glory opens in the UK on November 7.

They were advertising this when I was in New York last week. I think it's release date was either the 24th or 27th.

The veteran actor had a warm embrace for the two screen tough guys, who were clearly pleased to be reunited with their co-star.
"To work with… the two young lions Ed and Colin was part of the attraction of this film for me," says 70-year-old Jon, who is Angelina Jolie's dad. "They turned out to be everything I had hoped through the viewing of their prior work. They're very passionate, very open and very daring, as the real deal always are."
In the flick, which hits UK screens on November 17, the trio play a multi-generational family of Irish-American New York policemen. Their moral codes are tested when Ed's character investigates a case that reveals an police corruption scandal involving his own brother-in-law - played by Colin Farrell.
Famous faces at the premiere included model and publishing heiress Lydia Hearst, who turned heads in a daring, slashed-to-the-waist black gown.
