    I am new here, but I've been watching this space for weeks. Decided to post three of my shots taken with new lens that I bought 2 weeks ago. Still testing. Tell me what you think please...

    I'm not looking at the last 2 cos they're icky creepy crawlies but I really like the first, if I want to go for proper words I'd say I love the composition. I would try do it again though with a flower or something with colour, but even though it is all green it is lovely.

    Why is this your first post if you take such good shots???? Keep em coming.

    Thanks for the comments. I hope to post more (but not to many) in the future. I loved light and colour of these three shots, and I also like these little creatures at two of them. But still think they are too green, and - what is most important - I really like them...

    Job done with Nikon D40x and Tamron 55-200 DiII (bought for 70 euro)...

    Cropped hover fly is really nice, well done. The original pictures you posted all have nice colour and DOF. The last is a bit dark i think, the colour and detail on the leaf is good, but cant see the little insect very well.

    Good start, keep it up
