Stick with it. Haircuts that require expensive cuts and "product" are a waste of time and money that look like you're trying to hard. If your face is longish, maybe let it grow out a bit and just get it trimmed with the scissors. I did the whole floppy fringe thing, and the mop top thing, and the "almost" long hair and tbh, my old photos look daft. Short back and sides ftw:D (actually, that's not really the sort of advice you wanted, is it?:D).

Ive tried alot of stuff and i reckon forget your gel (no hold), forget your wax (dosnt wash out, dirty hair etc). Your only man is styling 'clay'.
Have about an inch of hair on your head, wash it, towel-dry it, now you have your canvass.
Take a medium sized chunk of clay in your 2 fingers, work it around all your fingers and then into your hair with the same movement as you did the towel-dying(less the towel) and work with it until you have a style you like. NB use a little bit of clay as too much and the mess can be irreversable without hopping back in the shower.

Now go get em ya sexy bastard!

Go into a decent hairdressers and ask them for advice. It's hard getting opinions over the internet when people can't see what you look like.

Peter mark is where you will have to go so. Women are good at this stuff and peter marks usually have sexy women working there.
Get a wash too and enjoy the breast on ear action. MMMMMMMMMMMMM

    No probs dawg, Stay freshhhhhhhhhhhhhhha!

Depends on the Peter Mark you go to. I went to one in Swords before and got a godawful woman who had no idea how to cut a guys hair. The results were not fun.

Where are you from OP? Is there really nowhere else other than Peter Mark to go to?

If the hairdressers is unisex, why not give them a try? I'm certain some lads do use there. Book a time when it is usually quiet and get them to tell you what they think. It will be sound and you'll look the better for it.
