Adult Caution

just a quick opinion on this one please folks..

I arrived at a nightclub door on friday night and was refused entry. I asked for a reason and wasn't given one and then I asked for the dooras name and he refused to give it and told me I wasn't getting in....

I left the door and stood to the side of the building and I noticed a car pull up and the bouncer speaking to him. the car reversed to me and a garda got out and asked me what I was doing there and asked me to move away and I asked him why as I wasn't causing any trouble.

He then took my ohone from my hand and proceeded to go through my numbers and he was watching my videos.. I told him he had no right to go through my phone but I think he might have been told by the bouncer that I had videod him at the door...

After I told him he had no right he told me he was arresting me under section 4 and he cuffed me and brought me to the station where I was offered an adult caution which I refused.. I was released but was advised by a senior member of the gardai to take the caution or I would be prosicuted..

I fell I hadn't done anything wrong... should I accept the caution and what is the situation with the garda looking through my phone?
