Nice range of ill defined risks and afflictions there.
Personally I wouldn't like to be suffering from hitchhikers or mechanics bill's

I think they mean spirit/astral/entities 'hitchhikers'.

    Who runs the site ?
Where is the ethos behind it ?
Where do they get thier funding from ?

Personally I think those who go paranormal investigating or ghost hunting should either people of utterly no faith or those with a strong faith as it seems to be that those who fall between those to put them selves at risk.

I would tend to disagree with that. Its the people not the faith or lack of is the problem. I do think that people who tend to have more faith or to the other end are pushed one direction or the other on an explanation to what is going on but its the ones in the middle who sometimes can up with the most interesting explainations. But then again one can be very spiritual without ever been religious.

When I said faith I did not mean Christian faith or any religious path.

The worst thing about the whole thing is it doesn’t mention anything about the real risks..........

    Abandoned House = Druggies
    Bad cabling = electrocuted
Dilapidated house = loose floorboards / broken glass / Asbestos
Castle's = height issues with falling.
    Forrest = getting lost
Open Investigations = Newbs loosing it.

Also the tripping/falling, cutting yourself, food poisoning, and of course being with the PIGS = Mental Abuse :)

Have had a look and yeah the site is ok but as Dre says above they are neglecting the "real" risks. If they had included them then I might pay a bit more attention to them.

They muddle up things like possession with divorce, unexplained loss of earnings, loss of time (what like sitting around in a dark room waiting?) in an illogical mix. I just read the risks page and gave up. It was like a random list of scary things that can happen to you with no reasoning or detail about how or why the paranormal would do all this to you.

Cos clearly when you meddle in the paranormal and open yourself and your life to the occult everything that happens to you is because of that and never the persons own responsiblity or just life.

This is a very clever Christian run site designed to scare people away from the occult.

Although I have, over the years, had many people tell me the paranormal is dangerous, and yet no one will commit to telling me in what way its dangerous unless you're likely to panic and imagine all sorts of stuff.

Having spent years immersed in the subject, Ive come to my own personal conclusion that that is the main danger. Others with their own experiences may differ.

Finding something very creepy would hardly be considered "dangerous" :p

i thought the site was fun and entertaining

am unclear of how a paranormal phenomena can make you do drugs or drop the connection on your mobile, but SURELY if they say this is all true then maybe they have proof?

somehow it reminds of me of the "kids! say no to drugs" mantra in Ronnie Regan's era.

i wonder, did all of those ailments happen to this one guy? cause i've had around half of them and i know its not from dabbling with the paranormal lol
Spider bites are by far the worst.

Yet every Sunday they do all there Voodoo in front of people by talking about a dude that rose from the grave, turn water in to wine and resorting to cannibalism.

Well see thats the thing. Their voodoo is fine, but its very jealous voodoo. Any other voodoo is a threat.
