Excercises for fat calves?

Hi there, i've decided to do something about losing some weight, have about 2 stone to lose, but one problem is my calves - they are round and quite fat in comparison to the rest of my body, how would I go about making them thinner? Is there a particular exercise I could do, or weights machine at the gym or do you think ordinary running or cycling would do it? Thanks:)

You are not going to loose 2 stone from your calves alone.

People who are overweight need stronger legs to carry them around. This could be a reason why your calves seem bigger. There is probably a fair bit of fat on them (and elsewhere) too.

Post your diet. Increase your activity levels. Anything will help at the moment to work towards shedding 2 stone. e.g. walking, swimming, pushing the pram, etc.

I would say that cycling could actually bulk up your calves even further, I inadvertently developed footballer's calves from cycling every day :o

There is a way to lose 2 stone from your calf area, but you need one of these.
