    Hi guys,
I don't know if you can get (Liverpool) City Talk Radio on 105.9, or even if anyone would be interested at the ungodly hour of 0200hrs on Tuesday. But, I am doing a 1-hour talk on the treatment of prisoners in French and Spanish prisons and how my martial-arts attitude and skills saved my life.
Apparently, people have become interested and latched on to the fact I was chained in leg-irons and manacles in public. Also, that I was escorted through the concourse at Orly airport last year by 4 armed security guards and two legionnaires with machine-guns trained on me. Shocked tourists took pictures of me as they gave us a wide berth, probably thinking I was bin Laden in disguise.
The point here is that I have never been convicted of a crime in France; I was held merely for extradition to Spain. Another point is the recent French and Spanish furore about Guantanamo Bay and the treatment of foreign prisoners by the US.
I can categorically say, here and now that I started my days with bread and water (every day) and in a 17 day period I was allowed only 3 showers. There's more... lots more, but that's for the radio show.
    Regards, Chris.

    Hi Roo,
I'm not clever with my PC but I think you can do something with this. You can listen in if you wish on this.
    http://www.whatson.com/citytalk/
The producer tells me that because the show is a deterrent against hashish smuggling and an insight into the consequences of getting caught (doing anything) in Spain, the show may go to two hours this week and feature me for a few more weeks.
They seem particularly interested that martial-arts was so important and that I was paid by the Spanish Prison Authority to teach anyone except ETA terrorists.
Mind you, I refused to teach the killers of women and children; rapists, nonces (child-molesters), lunatics and men with communicable diseases like TB and AIDS.
TB and AIDS is prolific in Spanish prisons so punch bags had to be washed and scrupulously cleaned daily. Bag Gloves were necessary for bag work, but punch bags will always be punched by passing prisoners, leaving their DNA and possible bits of skin for the next bloke to punch into. I could go on and on here but I'll keep it for the interview.
    Regards, Chris.
