need new dell inspiron 6400 battery

hi guys,
my dell inspiron 6400 needs a new battery, ive been looking at some on ebay and there are some contrasting prices, ranging from 80 euros delivered from the uk or 35 from hong kong, here is the one from hong kong, is there a reason that the one from hong kong is so much cheaper ??

if this one is not worth buying, could you reccomend where to get one,

The Hong Kong one is a generic battery, perhaps that is the reason of the lower price.

is there any difference between the generic one and say a dell branded one, besides the dell logo ???

I bought a 9 cell battery on e-bay from a seller called "laptop_batteriespart" for my 6400 and it's as good as a Dell original, i'm getting 3.5 hours out of it.

Hi, Have you ever heard about Dell battery replacement programme?
Some affected batteries caused a fire and Dell was replacing all of them from affected batch on the market. Maybe the one from Hong Kong is one of them? Who knows? I assume Dell will look after you (and burned house) if you buy from them, but not sure if you will get anything from Hong Kong. I'm not saying do not buy from Hong Kong, but consider possible consequences.
