I was thinking of trying to organise a tournament for my college class in the jackpot, the fitz or the sporting. Does anyone know what the deal with private tournaments is in each of these? Do they do them? Do you have to pay to organise it or is it just raked like normal tournaments?

hi well i ran a charity event for console last week in the fitz and they were very helpful. the deal was 5 euro per player to cover costs. in the end they donated it to the charity.so if you had your tourney there 5 euro reg it would cost. call in and ask for denise or paul cryan they will help you.

    regards jim

For my brother's stag I phoned the Fitz and they set aside a dealer and table for us. We paid €5 each and then whatever we wanted to make the prizepool. E.g. €20 a head x 6 = €120 prizepool.

If you ring them I am sure they will be able to accomodate. Just let them know what numbers you are expecting.
