    Hey all,

need a little help with the memory here.
trying to recall the spelling of a character in a primary school english book, 3rd or 4th class time, mid 90s, from either sea keepers or postcard from the stars, reckon its one the below:
    sol magee
    saul magee
    sol mcgee
    sol magee

he was a rockin homeless man, quick with the wit and had a bandy bike and he just to cycle about getting jam sambos i think.painted a pretty cool view of homelessness anyway.

    thanks in advance

what's the difference between the first and the last option.

I'm not sure but i'd guess "sol magee".

As it was short for solomon (because he was so wise), and Magee is a far more common name in Ireland.
