    Quick question.

Airbag light has come on my golf, wanna delete the code just to make sure it wasn't a one off voltage spike or something strange like that

Does anyone know if the fault codes on a MKIV golf be deleted without an OBD reader?

    Cheers

No, you need something like vag-com to do it.

Where are you based, I could do it for you if your around Dublin.

Thanks for the offer, Im in Sligo though.

My boss also owns a Skoda dealership, I can go there I suppose but then I'll owe the &%#@ a favour!

Plug out the car battery for around ten minutes that should reset all faults
