Seeking Christmas Sunshine

I'm heading away for Christmas (because I haven't had a holiday all year) but can't decide where to go. I would like some blue skies and sun but not necessarily tanning weather, just seeing some sunshine and bright skies would suffice. Where would you recommend?

My list of destinations which looked great before I started researching now has a negative for each place. I'm totally open to alternative destinations. Any input would be appreciated.

    Miami - mosquitoes
    Cancun - tropical storm season
    Cuba - hurricane devestated
Cape Town - could i enjoy it knowing the hardships of others there?
    Madeira - possibly quite cool
Morocco - package hols to Agadir - never liked self-catering / resorts
Dubai - will it be christmassy?

Singapore / Hawaii / Hong Kong / all too far & too expensive.
