Think this was related to the random wire unplugging in london. Will monitor :)

I noticed today (just after my first monthly payment went (conspiracy!? ;))

That I seem to have a restriction on a fair number TCP ports.

Down from the usual 2-3mbytes/sec per thread to a spiking 70-150kbytes/sec

FTP traffic from (as an example ftp.uk.freebsd.org) still goes at 5.5mbytes/sec.

Anyone else on the FTTH products? (Or even the 50mbit one?)

    Anyone noticed similar?

Shall be phoning them tomorrow to enquire as to the slowness.

The only abnormal thing I can think that I did of late (last week or so) was to leave a certain mmo game patch downloader going till it finished (which uploaded about 1.5gb of data).

Edit: Speed test still shows 50mbit/8mbit (more or less)

Edit2: Seems that some ports are just restricted from some ip blocks
