What do people think of shopping in charity shops? Do many people do shop in charity shops? Or is it frowned upon?

    Frowned upon?! What the hell?

Too posh for charity shops are we?

Edit: HA! If someone 'frowned upon' me shopping in a charity shop, then that'd be the last time they'd talk to me. Christ almighty.

You need a lot of patience for charity shops but you can get some really nice and usual stuff. And the 70's are making a big comeback so you can find lots of gems. But you do need the patience for it!!!!!!

The good thing about Dublin city centre is that there seems to be clusters of shops together - Capel Street on the north side and Camden Street and George's Street on the south side both have 3/4 shops near to each other.

    Ok chill out Glowing! :p
I do half my shopping in charity shops, my point in asking was out of curiousity as I seem to be the only person in a large group of friends who shops there and I have been told that people will frown upon me for shopping there!

Sorry ... that attitude bugs me ... like those who turn their noses up at Aldi and Lidl, and say "Ohh you shop *there*?"

    GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
