How does someone become a MOD?!

No one can tell you 1 way to become a mod because there is no 1 way. Think about the worse thing in the world you would do if no one would find out .... then multiple it by 1,000,000 - thats what it takes.

Make at least 20 posts a day over at least a year (indicating you have nothing better to do anyway)
Constantly lecture people on their behaviour, even though you're not yet a mod (this can be toned down once you get the job)
Never, ever, ever vacate the middle ground.

It used to be you had to preform 'services' for the admins but that got branched out to the smods and then delegated to the cat mods, which given the fact there is only one female smod is something the more recent male mods should be gratefull for.
