    I would think so.
I have a different spec of the same laptop and the gpu is pretty good - but it is also one of the nvidia cards that are supposed to have a higher failure rate than normal.
Personally I think you'd be better with a lower native resolution - depending on what you want to use it for: I have 800 resolution and most games run at high settings with that resolution - but I'd say newer games wouldn't run so well on the higher resolution. (my spec is 2.4ghz processor + 4gb ram)
The design of the laptop is very nice. The screen is good. I'm very happy with my one except for the reports that the gpu is dodgy. The only other negative point about it is less significant - the speakers are sh!t.

The prices on Dell outlet are excluding VAT. Is that 700 including VAT? It should also be noted that there are a lot of issues with the Nvidea graphics chips these days, it's an issue relating to over heating. Just something to be aware of, although, that being said, issues are more prominent in the 1530's little brother the 1330, so you'll probably be okay. Yeah 'tis a good machine, if it's 700 then it's well worth the cash

I've had one for three months... aside from a buckled palmrest caused by me leaning on it (I'm no lightweight btw)... it's doing fine. 950 is a brilliant price... I paid 1440 for mine iat the start of May. Grrrrr....
