Anyone try out any Victoria Jackson make-up or brushes?

A girl came round to work selling them today but couldnt find any reviews online.

There was a discussion on it on beaut.ie a few days ago. Basically some people seem to think that some of the make-up is ok, some of it is crap, but there's a lot of criticism of the way that the company uses such a hard sell to get people to buy stuff.

I bought the stuff they were selling for 40 euro a few weeks ago. Got quite a lot for 40 euro, given that it'd normally only buy you two decent brushes. The brushes are grand, I've found them good quality so far :)

i got the brush, lipgloss, eyeshadow and mirror set a while back for €30. The brushes ad lipgloss are good. The eyeshadow is pretty crap though- Theres like a really dark blue and no matter how much you put on it you just get a kindof a blue-grey colour. The bruses are good though- use them all the time.

Put eye primer (or a little bit of liquid foundation) on your eyelids before applying the eyeshadow and see if it comes out stronger.

I got a really nice set of VJ make up as a present a while back. One set was in a gorgeous fold out presentation case that's perfect for your handbag and has everything in it. The brushes are gorgeous. I love the blusher and glosses too. Haven't tried all of it to be honest but the lip pallettes are lovely and the lip gloss/paste lasts ages.
