Getting details of appeals to an Bórd Pleanala

OK, someone might know a way of helping here.

There's a development being built across the road from me. I checked the plans before I moved in and it appeared that there was a large apartment block being built right on the road. I wasn't too worried about it.

For some reason I checked the plans again after moving in and it seems that SDCC denied the planning application, citing the height of this apartment block as one major reason. The developer made an appeal to ABP. They agreed with SDCC on a number of points and also agreed about the height of the apartment block. However, they overturned the ruling and granted permission, based on a few conditions, and also based on a set of revised plans which were submitted to ABP by the developer.

I can see the details of ABP's ruling, but they don't provide the same level of detail as SDCC, so I can't see the revised plans. I get the impression that the revised plans have the size of the block reduced, but I'd like to check to make sure.

Is it possible to get such details from ABP?

I'm not being snarky at all, but maybe the construction and planning board (rec > Home & Garden > Construction and Planning) would give you better answers.

SDCC should be forwarded a full set of details from ABP shortly after the decision. You should be able to obtain a copy from them, or go check them out there.

Yeah as mentioned the local PA would get a copy and they would be available for inspection/copying.

If that is where their planning dept. is located then you should be able to inspect/purchase the plans there. Might do no harm just to give the Council a ring first to check where their planning dept. is located.
